Contractors started to build a large parapet wall without a construction administration inspector on site to observe and verify. SUPERSTRUCTURES was asked to determine whether truss mesh was properly installed every three courses of brick as specified by the structural engineer. With all parties present, ground penetrating radar patterns were demonstrated and recorded. Most regions had been constructed properly, but truss mesh was missing from one course in one region. The contractor removed two brick segments and had to agree that the mesh was, indeed, missing.
