In order to perform a structural assessment, engineers need data for their calculations. In the absence of as-built drawings, SUPERSTRUCTURES was asked to determine the concrete wall thickness and typical size and spacing of main and secondary reinforcement bar (rebar) in the cellar of this 1925 building. Using an impact-echo system, ground penetrating radar, and a covermeter, all data was collected and reported, including information on the accuracy of the NDT&E results.
